Look and character
With a 1.5x squeeze, the image is optically compressed horizontally by 1.5× and stretched back in post. That gives these desqueezed aspect ratios, by recorded area:
- 16:9 sensor area → 2.67:1
- 3:2 sensor area → 2.25:1
- 4:3 sensor area → 2.00:1
